Purpose-built for the mass production of door lock front panels, back panels and panel frame components, this 138-ton cold chamber die casting machine is calibrated to meet the strict dimensional and surface requirements of modern door lock hardware manufacturing. It is compatible with both aluminum alloy and zinc alloy lock panel production, making it a flexible workhorse for lock factories serving residential, commercial and smart lock product lines.
At the heart of the control system is a genuine German PLC paired with a high-resolution color screen, which gives operators full, real-time visibility over injection speed, injection pressure, clamping force and cycle parameters. Every casting parameter can be stored, recalled and adjusted with pinpoint accuracy, eliminating process drift between shifts and ensuring consistent part quality across long production runs. Servo motor drive technology combined with closed-loop feedback control delivers ultra-fine regulation of injection speed throughout the fill cycle, which is critical for eliminating flow marks, cold shuts and gas porosity on large, flat lock panel surfaces. The result is consistently flat panels with precise hole positioning, clean screw bosses and a defect-free surface that reduces polishing and rework costs downstream.
The hydraulic system operates on a dual-proportional control architecture that supports fully programmable multi-stage injection profiles and low-pressure mold clamping. This gentle low-pressure clamping mode protects delicate mold cavities, core pins and surface texturing from impact damage, extending mold service life and lowering tooling maintenance costs. The system is fitted exclusively with high-quality European or Japanese oil seals, chosen for their excellent wear resistance and long-term sealing performance, which minimizes oil leakage risk and ensures reliable, uninterrupted operation year after year.
The clamping unit features an integrated mold height adjustment mechanism that distributes clamping stress uniformly across the entire mold platen, preventing uneven flash and maintaining stable mold alignment over millions of cycles. The injection system is equipped with high-flow hydraulic valves and a precision piston accumulator that delivers fast, repeatable and highly stable injection performance, even for thin-wall lock panel molds with complex runner and gating designs. Built on a heavy-duty, stress-relieved machine frame and cooled by a high-efficiency oil cooling system, the machine is engineered for a service life of 15 to 20 years under normal three-shift production conditions. An optional mold sweeping robotic arm can be integrated for automated mold cooling and cleaning between cycles.
