Off-road footpegs, unlike street pegs, are designed with open frames that let mud and debris fall through instead of packing underfoot, which makes them geometrically complex: multiple separated struts, thin bridging sections and a wide platform all in one shot. This 280-ton cold chamber die casting machine is set up for such open-structure aluminum off-road footpegs, forming strut networks, platform faces and pivot bosses without leaving unfilled bridges. A strut that fails to fill fully becomes a weak link that snaps on a hard landing; uneven platform thickness throws off the rider's stance over jumps and whoops.
The machine is constructed on a reinforced heavy-tonnage frame with high-strength tie bars, hardened wear-resistant steel pins and thickened platens providing stable 280-ton clamping. Rigidity under high-pressure cold chamber injection keeps the multi-strut die cavity firmly closed, so thin bridges fill completely and strut walls maintain designed thickness. For off-road footpeg production it holds consistent strut cross-sections, uniform platform thickness and accurate pivot-boss alignment on every piece. The robust frame absorbs shock loading from repeated high-cycle runs and supports continuous output of medium aluminum performance parts.
A genuine German PLC paired with a full-color HMI touchscreen controls shot speed and intensification pressure with real-time readout. Closed-loop regulation handles the slow-shot and fast-shot transition with fine graduation, ensuring molten aluminum reaches every separated strut and thin bridge without cold shut or shrinkage porosity at the junctions. This yields off-road pegs that survive repeated impact loading. Simplified electrics keep operation stable in high-temperature shops, and the fault display reports problems promptly to limit downtime.
The dual-proportional hydraulic system supports programmable multi-stage injection and low-pressure buffered mold clamping, protecting strut cores and pivot-bore inserts from impact stress. All seals are premium European or Japanese imports for leak-free operation under continuous 280-ton load. Hydraulic die-height adjustment shortens mold exchange between off-road peg styles and bike platforms. Automatic pressure-relief energy saving cuts unneeded hydraulic power use during the cycle.
Uniform clamping stress and precise die alignment prevent strut bow and pivot-bore distortion. A high-flow valve plus precision piston accumulator injection unit provides stable intensification for complex open-frame molds. Efficient oil cooling stabilizes hydraulic temperature across long shifts, supporting a 15 to 20 year service life. An optional robotic arm can automate mold sweeping.
Shipment is guaranteed within 20 days of order confirmation. The service package includes 2-hour rapid response, 24-hour on-site after-sales support, one-on-one custom manufacture service, on-site commissioning by certified engineers and lifelong technical assistance.
