Replaceable footpeg cleat inserts are small, heavily loaded wear parts sold in multi-packs: they bolt into the peg body, take the direct contact with the rider's boot and are replaced as the teeth dull. That makes them a high-cavity, high-volume aluminum component where per-piece cost and cavity-to-cavity consistency drive profitability. This 280-ton cold chamber die casting machine is configured for multi-cavity production of aluminum footpeg cleat inserts, filling many small tooth-profiled cavities per shot with matching weight and geometry so inserts are interchangeable across packs.
The press is built on a heavy-duty fatigue-resistant frame with upgraded wear-resistant tie bars, thickened hardened steel pins and thickened load-bearing platens, achieving high rigidity and load capacity for sustained multi-cavity cold chamber work. This construction reduces mechanical fatigue during long uninterrupted runs and holds consistent filling density and dimensional accuracy cavity to cavity, keeping insert weight uniform so packs balance properly and sorting stays minimal.
A German PLC intelligent core with color HMI interactive screen simplifies the electrical architecture and manages production recipes. Closed-loop control supports real-time adjustment and one-click storage of shot speed and intensification parameters, so switching between cleat profiles is quick and repeatable. Stable forming across all cavities keeps every insert in the shot identical. The system runs reliably in hot workshops, and the fault display reports anomalies immediately.
Dual-proportional hydraulics provide programmable multi-stage injection and low-pressure anti-collision clamping, raising fill efficiency while protecting multi-cavity tooth molds. High-quality European and Japanese oil seals ensure long-term leak-free operation with low maintenance frequency. Hydraulic die-height adjustment speeds up tool changes between insert designs. The automatic pressure-relief energy-saving function cuts idle power consumption in batch manufacturing.
Precision clamping and die-height control keep mold stress uniform and positioning stable, preventing cavity-level deviation from die shift or pressure fluctuation. The injection system of high-flow valves and a precision piston accumulator delivers consistent intensification across the multi-cavity insert mold. An efficient oil cooler maintains constant hydraulic temperature through long runs, supporting a 15 to 20 year service life. An optional mold-sweeping robotic arm further lifts automation.
